Traits should improve a unit that already has a clear job. Do not spend your rarest reroll resources on every shiny pull: first identify your carry, confirm the exact live trait text, and decide what failure you want the trait to fix.
Trait decision index
Before you reroll
- Lock the unit and capture the current trait text.
- Confirm that the unit belongs in your active team after a traitless comparison.
- Keep enough Crystals and update items for progression, not only rerolls.
- Decide your stop rule before pressing the button: a useful trait is better than ending with nothing you can use.
- Read every confirmation panel. Do not rely on trait names or odds copied from another anime tower-defense game.
When to keep a trait
Keep it when the displayed effect helps the unit’s real job and produces a visible improvement on the same stage. A modest, reliable effect on your main carry can be worth more than an ultra-rare-looking effect on a bench unit. Keep temporary traits on early units if they let you reach a new world; replace them only when the account has a stable resource surplus.
When to reroll again
Reroll when the effect is irrelevant to the unit, your team has outgrown that unit, or a same-stage test shows no practical gain. Stop if resources fall below what you need for boxes, upgrades, or a known update requirement. RNG spending without a stop rule can erase several sessions of progress.
Why this page does not publish trait odds
Mera’s public Roblox description confirms luck boosts and unit progression but does not expose a live trait table or odds. Exact names, percentages, costs, and pity rules can change in the interface. The trait panel in your current server is the source of record.
