Units guide hub

Anime RNG Defense asks you to roll anime-style units, place them on a route, upgrade them during battle, and protect the base. A rare pull is exciting, but the useful question is simpler: what job does this unit do for your current map?

The official Roblox page does not publish a complete live roster or stat sheet. This guide therefore avoids invented character names and gives you a dependable index for judging every unit you actually own.

Unit role index

Role
What to inspect
Best use
Warning sign
Early defender
Low placement cost and useful first upgrade
Stops the opening waves while income builds
Your carry cannot be placed before enemies leak.
Wave clearer
Area coverage, attack interval, and upgrade scaling
Dense groups and long lanes
Several enemies survive each attack cycle.
Boss damage
Sustained single-target damage and total upgrade cost
Durable enemies and final waves
The boss reaches the exit while normal waves feel easy.
Control
Slow, stun, range, or another repeatable delay
Keeps enemies inside your damage zones
The effect is too inconsistent for the slot it consumes.
Support
Who receives the buff and how much uptime it has
Amplifies a proven carry
You are buffing weak units instead of adding real damage.
Flex slot
Whether it fixes the exact enemy or lane causing failure
New worlds, raids, and update testing
The slot duplicates a role you already cover.

How to compare two units

Use the same world, the same stage, the same trait state, and the same upgrade budget. Place each unit in a comparable position and record four things: when it becomes affordable, when enemies first leak, how it handles the boss, and how much battle currency remains. A faster clear with fewer upgrades is usually more useful than a larger final stat shown only after maxing.

Keep, test, or replace

  • Keep a unit that fills an uncovered role, carries your newest world, or has a trait worth preserving.
  • Test a new update unit before feeding rare resources into it. One easy stage is not a tier-list result.
  • Replace a unit when another pull performs the same job earlier, cheaper, and more consistently.
  • Lock valuable pulls before opening more boxes or cleaning inventory.

Rarity is not a complete tier list

Higher rarity generally signals a stronger or harder-to-obtain unit, but team cost, attack pattern, range, placement limit, traits, and map layout can change the result. A cheap early defender can be more important than a second expensive carry if you keep losing before your economy starts.

A practical all-units checklist

When you inspect the live unit menu, record the displayed name, rarity, base placement cost, damage style, range, attack interval, upgrade path, placement limit, trait, and any special effect. Those visible fields form a trustworthy personal unit index and remain more useful than a copied list that may belong to another Roblox game.

Game loop verified from the official Anime RNG Defense Roblox description. Exact unit names and live stats should be taken from the current in-game roster because Mera does not publish a public all-units table.
